	3 from DBU selected in MLB draft Monday, Jun 9, 2008 By Staff     DALLAS (BP)--Three players from Dallas Baptist University were selected in the Major Leage Baseball First-Year Player Draft June 6. Junior Evan Bigley, who was the Patriots everyday centerfielder, was taken in the 10th round and the 306th overall pick by the Minnesota Twins. Bigley led the team in RBI (58), hits (83), doubles (20) and runs (55) and was fourth on the team in batting average (.333). Senior Tyson Bagley was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 11th round. The DBU closer had four wins and 11 saves during the 2008 season, with a 2.56 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 38.2 innings of work. Junior Jordan Meaker was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 20th round. Meaker was the number one starter for the Patriots pitching staff.
